The Borealis BA Series micro and semi-micro analytical balances come fully equipped to provide accurate and precise measurements. Balances offer capacities from 6.2 to 120 g with four different weighing applications—normal weighing, counting mode, percent weighing, minimum weight alert function. Antistatic glass panels along with an external ionizer ensure static electricity is eliminated before weighing to reduce errors. A self-sensitivity adjustment feature uses the internal weight to automatically calibrate according to the set execution conditions (temperature change, preset time, or preset interval) when there is nothing on the pan to ensure consistent measurement results.
Control balance functions and view measurements on the large remote display unit. Remote display ensures weighing unit is not disturbed while the measurement is being taken. Display unit features a 5" LCD, resistive color screen; two IR sensors; and four quick access keys for easy navigation. Touchscreen enables intuitive operation while making it easy to enter numbers and change settings, even while wearing thick gloves. Easily level balance using the on-screen leveling assist feature with visual instructions indicating which foot to rotate. Program IR sensors to activate functions such as auto door open/close, print, and zero. Draft shield door can be set to open fully or partially depending on your preference.
The glass panels on the draft shield use a unique clip system for fast and easy removal. Sliding doors hang from the top of the housing so there are no grooves where contaminants can accumulate. To clean, simply unclip the glass panels or remove the draft shield by pulling out the fasteners.
