For use with fluorescent probes, ethidium bromide, and other photosensitive samples, these conical bottom, polypropylene centrifuge tubes can block 100% of UV rays and are irradiation sterilized (SAL-10-6). They have a MAX RCF (maximum relative centrifugal force) of 12,000 x g and include flat HDPE caps. A frosted area for labeling is resistant to alcohol wiping.

Useful for the storage and centrifugation of light-sensitive samples, they can withstand temperatures from -80 °C (-112 °F) to 121 °C (250 °F). Packaged in resealable bags of 50 per bag, they are DNase/RNase-free, nonpyrogenic, and conform to USP Class VI standards.
