More About this Item
These single-use bioprocess bags feature multilayer films in different materials to provide the best biocompatibility, chemical resistance, and gas barrier to meet your bioprocessing applications. The LLDPE fluid contact layer offers outstanding biocompatibility with broad chemical compatibility for safe handling of a wide range of biopharmaceutical liquids. The EVOH middle layer ensures minimum gas permeation, ensuring the integrity of the fluid. The impact and tear resistant outside nylon layer offers outstanding durability. A multi-material tie-structure bonds the three layers, adding to the overall performance of the bag. Bags are ideal for use in buffer and media storage, bioreactor feed and harvest, and chromatography feed.
A 3D bag consists of multilayer sheets sealed together to often form a cuboidal shape and fits inside a supporting tank or container. These collapsible bags minimize the risk of cross-contamination and reduce cleaning and turnaround time. Each bag features three ports with 30” long clear C-Flex® 374 tubing, MPX inserts (on two ports) or female locking Luer with needle-free sampling port, and pinch clamps. Use bags in temperatures ranging from –80 to 60°C (–112 to 140°F). Bags are sterilized by gamma irradiation, ports are capped and covered, and systems are double bagged for integrity.
