More About this Item

The Stripwell™ plates and strips are 1 x 8 well flat bottom strips designed to easily break apart to be placed into strip holder. Plates include strips and strip holder preassembled in a 96-well format. Strips are sold without a strip holder, holder 13020-50 sold separately. High and medium binding surface options available for a wide range of applications.

High binding surface binds medium (>10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions— ideal for immunoassays. Binding capacity is approximately 400 to 500ng IgG/cm².

Medium binding surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions and is suitable for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface. Binding capacity is approximately 100 to 200ng IgG/cm².
