Suitable for centrifugation in various fields such as cell biology, immunology, microbiology and molecular biology, as well as for sample preparation and sample storage, these 15 mL and 50 mL centrifuge tubes have a MAX RCF (maximum relative centrifugal force) of 12,000 x g. Easy-to-read black graduations of 0.5 mL increments on 15 mL tubes and of 2.5 mL increments on 50 mL tubes have an accuracy of ±2%. A large, frosted surface allows for identification and labeling and is resistant to alcohol wiping.

These conical bottom centrifuge tubes are made of polypropylene (PP) and have a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) flat cap (no cap on 06344-53). With a temperature range of -80 °C (-112 °F) to 121 °C (250 °F), they are DNase/RNase-free, non-pyrogenic, and conform to USP Class VI standards.
