The Empore oil and grease disks offer a faster flow rate and less filter cogging than most other SPE filters. The filters are designed with a fluoropolymer matrix embedded with C-18 coated particles placed between two layers of polypropylene prefilter material. The trilaminar construction eliminates the need for costly and messy prefilter materials on most samples.
