These cordless LED microscopes offer many standard research features at a great value. Energy-efficient, cool white light, equal to a 20 W tungsten lamp, provides up to 50,000 hours of life. Each 8-hour charge allows up to 50 hours of continuous use—excellent for field use or any location where AC power is not readily available; recharge up to 500 times.
High-resolution optics are parfocaled and parcentered so you can easily see your sample even after switching objectives. Infinity-corrected optics allow one or more auxiliary components (illuminators or polarizer) to be added without altering the alignment between the objective and tube lens. Even with added components infinity-corrected optics produce exactly 1x magnification allowing easy comparison between specimens.
Iri diaphragm, shielded for protection, increases contrast to provide sharp images. A large 14.3 x 12 cm (5-3/4" x 4-3/4") stage features a low-profile, ball-bearing mounted mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial controls. A built-in handle encourages proper handling and makes it easier and safer to transport the microscope. Quality construction and all-metal internal parts offer durability, making these microscopes ideal for schools and field applications.
