Ensure your network is working properly by continuously troubleshooting and optimizing the current infrastructure. The Fluke LinkIQ network testers quickly verify cable performance up to 10 Gbps and help solve network connectivity problems. Testers use frequency-based measurements to accurately determine the distance to fault such as opens, shorts, and unterminated cable up to 305 m (1000 ft) and provide a wiremap of the cable under test. Complete wiremap of the cable pairs which identify miswired and split pairs are possible using the included remote ID.

Obtain detailed information on the nearest connected switch on the LinkIQ tester. Switch port test shows port number, switch name, and port VLAN along with advertised speed and duplex settings. Switch port Power over Ethernet (PoE) setting shows pairs used, power and class available, and results of the PoE test under load. To ensure that the advertised power is actually being delivered by the switch across the cabling infrastructure, the LinkIQ tester will place a load on the connection.

Store up to 1000 results in the tester with descriptive names for documentation. For added convenience, test names and numbers automatically increment as each is saved saving time when testing cables in sequence. Export data to a PC for documentation using LinkWare™ PC cable test management software. LinkWare software saves, maintains, and archives results to create various types of summary reports as well as generate PDFs.
