Use these high-quality PVC-free fittings in biomedical research, pharmaceutical, electronic, and other critical-use applications. Fittings are manufactured, double bagged, and sealed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom to ensure the integrity is not compromised. An ISO Class 7 cleanroom utilizes HEPA filtration systems to maintain air cleanliness levels of less than 10,000 particles of 0.5 µm or larger per cubic foot.

Luer fitting is a standardized system comprised of a male taper and a female mating part that provides a leak-free connection. Simply connect the plug to a female luer adapter to stop the fluid flow. The nut rotates independently from the body, minimizing twists and kinks in the tube line to ensure a secure connection.

Plug and nut assemblies are made from medical nylon and are available in various colors for quick identification. Nylon fittings are made from the same resin as natural nylon but with FDA-compliant white coloring. They offer good tensile strength, stiffness, and impact resistance and are resistant to fuels and lubricants. Not recommended for use with phenols, strong acids, and oxidizing agents. Meets FDA regulations 21 CFR 178.3297 and RoHS compliant.
