These worktables eliminate unwanted vibrations which limit the performance of sensitive instruments such as balances. Both series feature a sound-deadened isolation platform core and tubular steel frame with leveling feet. The isolation platform can be removed for cleaning, or switched with other platforms as necessary.

Elastomeric isolator AMD-SS models use sorbothane with a natural frequency of 7 Hz. This removes most vibrations above that frequency with a maximum efficiency of 98% reduction at 100 Hz. Suitable for toploading balances and compact industrial scales that fit the isolation platform.
