These compact homogenisers are great for high-speed hand held operation. The 125-Watt motor offers stable operation in a variety of media samples, and variable speed control from 8,000 to 10,000 rpm. Disposable dispersion elements eliminate concerns of cross-contamination with DNA, or PCR analysis. Stainless steel dispersion elements remove quickly and clean completely for reuse. The rotor-stator generator uses a pump-like action to constantly draw in sample. Through a combination of shear, impact, collision, and cavitation, the generator rapidly disperses and disintegrates the material suspended in the media.
