Each kit includes a PVA-1500HE2 analyzer I-V curve tracers and additional Fluke meter(s) to help maximize efficiency and optimize PV performance. The high-efficiency PV analyzer is ideal for testing high-efficiency modules (>19% module efficiency). The high-efficiency modules have a large in-rush current when you start the test that can overheat the test instrument and slow down testing. Uniquely designed high-efficiency PV analyzer measures all string types, including high-efficiency modules, up to 30 A. These high-precision analyzers use I-V curve tracing, the most complete solar module performance measurement, to quickly obtain detailed performance data of PV modules.
Measure irradiance and module temperature by clamping the wireless SolSensor™ PV reference sensor (included with analyzer) to the module frame. With the angular response of each unit calibrated for rotation and elevation, the temperature-compensated sensor offers excellent accuracy over a broad range of technologies, sky conditions, and sun angles.
A portable design and an intuitive interface make it easy to use the analyzer in the field. The PV analyzer and the SolSensor sensor communicate wirelessly with a tablet or a laptop (Windows® only) via Wi-Fi. Download the Data Analysis Tool software to display the data in multiple, easy-to-read formats and a statistical overview of the entire array. The software looks at all the collected data for comparison to see where there are differences, identifying the issue for further troubleshooting. Easily create and send customized reports.
Use the includes TiS75+ thermal imaging camera to detect anomolies such as hot spots and faulty electrical connections on solar panels. The handheld device features an industrial-quality LCD touch screen that is easy to use.
