The EX623A clamp meter combines a true-rms meter, IR thermometer, thermocouple thermometer, and noncontact voltage detector in one convenient unit. The built-in IR thermometer with a laser pointer has a distance-to-target size ratio of 8:1 to help identify hot spots from a distance. Take temperatures up to 1000 °C (1832 °F) with a type K thermocouple probe. Dual thermocouple inputs measure T1, T2, and T1-T2 differential temperature measurement. A noncontact voltage detector with an LED alert adds a layer of safety for the operator.
Take HVAC flame rod current measurements and capacitance measurements up to 40 mF with the AC/DC µA function. Set the meter to LoZ mode to prevent false readings due to ghost voltage. Activate the low-pass filter to minimize electrical noise to ensure accurate measurements. The meter is safety rated to CAT III-600 V and features rugged, double-molded housing for excellent durability.
*The supplied thermocouple probes are rated for 250 °C (482 °F) max. If a higher temperature is needed, please purchase separate thermocouple probes.
