These sealing films are made of a unique, 50µm polyolefin film that utilizes an encapsulated silicone adhesive that is non-tacky until pressed in place on microplates — eliminates sticking to gloves. Adhesive only seals around wells, keeping the area over the wells encapsulated and inert. Film fits within the raised area of 96-well plates, preventing loss of seal. White tabs on either end of film provide easier positioning on the plate.

Heat resistant films offer a high optical clarity with minimal autofluorescence. Film is chemically inert (except at extreme pH) and offers DMSO resistance for high through-put screening. Films are certified Dnase-, Rnase-, and nucleic acid-free.
