The foot pedal has two modes — “standard” or “stop/start”. In standard mode, the flame is ignited by operation of the foot pedal. The foot pedal remains depressed for the duration of use. The flame is extinguished upon release of the pedal. The stop/start mode allows the foot pedal can be used as start-stop with timer at a maximum of 60 minutes.
