ChemExpress™ Mercury Vapor Badge monitors mercury vapor commonly emitted from mining operations and fluorescent lamps. Mercury vapor is collected by a thin ultra high-purity layer of gold. Monitors low levels of mercury with a detection limit of 0.0002 ppm over an 87 hour period. Each badge comes with a particle screen to prevent particles containing mercury from entering the sampler during monitoring and causing a high biased result. An analysis of elemental mercury is performed by cold vapor atomic absorption (CVAA).
