Fluorometers

Fluorometers
A fluorometer is an instrument that measures the intensity and wavelength of the fluorescence of a sample. Excitation (and the resultant fluorescence) of a sample is caused by exposure to a specific spectrum of light; thus a fluorometer typically has both a light source that is used to excite the sample, as well as a method of detecting and measuring the light that is generated by the excited sample.
