Control the temperature using the internal type K thermocouple sensor for standard applications, or externally using the stainless steel 100 Pt RTD probe (included) to maintain a more precise set point. The two-line LED display shows both set and actual temperatures; if using the remote probe, "R" will display after the actual temperature. Program and save up to three heat and time settings. Use the presets individually for automatic shut-off, or use the Preset Continue function to run the programs continuously for ramp/dwell control.
The newly designed display is tilted to be easily read from above, and separated and raised to protect it from splashes and spills. A red, flashing LED light warns you when the top plate temperature is above 122°F (50°C) for added safety.
