This instrument is a UV absorption analyzer designed specifically for ozone measurements. It uses a mercury lamp filtered for absorption at 254 nm as is typical of other commercial instruments. The design is very compact and uses the latest digital microprocessor technology. The unit automatically covers three ranges: 0 to 1, 0 to 10 and 0 to 900 ppm. Data output is via serial port, USB, 0-2.5 VDC, 4-20 mA. LCD digital display, and a time and date stamp digital data stream for external readout and data logging. Internal datalogger stores and transfers approximately four days of data. Panel LEDs indicate "on", recalibrate, change input filter, and the ozone concentration at the sampling point exceeds 0.1 ppm.
Optional datalogger can download into a PC or laptop by its RS-232 serial cable. It can send data continuously to the PC for continuous display and analysis. Automatically records time and max gas concentration scaling (X and Y axis scaling). Stores over 8,000 readings. Graph statistics appear on screen: max, min, average, date and time.
Zoom capability provides more detailed viewing of any part of the graph. Graphs can be labeled and pasted into other applications. Data logger uses 9 V alkaline battery (not included).
