More About this Item

Use these sterile disposable syringe filters for reliable sample preparation. Filters reliably filter all types of aqueous, organic, and biomolecular samples. All syringe filters have a female Luer-lok inlet and a male luer slip outlet for fast and reliable connections.

Cellulose Acetate Filters feature hydrophilic membranes. These low protein binding membranes are ideal for aqueous protein solutions. The filters are nitrate-free, making them suitable for groundwater filtration.

Mixed Cellulose Ester Filters are hydrophilic and very low protein biding. Filters have high porosity and fast flow rate—excellent for aqueous solutions, tissue culture, and sensitive biological samples.

Nylon Filters are hydrophilic with strong mechanical stability and excellent chemical compatibility. Use filters with aqueous and alcoholic solutions and most HPLC solvents. They offer minimal extractables and medium protein binding.

Polyethersulfone (PES) Filters are hydrophilic and low protein-binding; ideal for pharmaceutical and biological applications where sample recovery and low extractables are essential. Filters offer fast flow rate and high throughput.

Polypropylene (PP) Filters are hydrophilic and offer low UV absorbing extractables. Designed for low hand pressure and maximum throughput with low hold up volume.

PTFE Filters are hydrophilic and characterized by very good chemical resistance. They are compatible with many nonaqueous and organic solvent mixtures. Filters are high protein binding.

PVDF Filters offer broad chemical compatibility and low UV absorbing extractables. Filters are resistant to many solvents and exhibit low protein binding. Ideal for general filtration of biological samples.

Regenerated Cellulose Filters are hydrophobic and resistant to most solvents and aqueous solutions. Use filters for particle removal from solvents and mobile phase filtration for HPLC.
