More About this Item
These USB 2.0 data acquisition modules offer synchronous and concurrent voltage input, temperature input, waveform output, counter input, quadrature encoder input, timer input, and digital I/O. Units feature a 16-bit, 1-MHz A/D converter, 16 analog input channels (user expandable to 64 channels), up to four 16-bit, 1-MHz analog outputs, 24 high-speed digital I/O, 2 timer outputs, and four 32-bit counters. All analog I/O, digital I/O, and counter/timer I/O can operate synchronously and simultaneously, guaranteeing deterministic I/O among all the signal types.
Seven software programmable ranges provide inputs from ±10 V to ±100 mV full scale. Each channel can be software configured for a different range, as well as for single-ended, differential bipolar input, or thermocouple input. Every analog input on these modules (or on the expansion module, see "Accessories") can accept a thermocouple input. Built-in cold-junction sensors are provided for each of the removable screw terminal connectors so that any thermocouple type can be attached to any channel. Additional features include input scanning, output timing, low-latency set point control, triggering, and every range on these modules are calibrated from the factory using a digital NIST traceable calibration method.
Software Suite
The included DaqView™ out-of-the-box software provides instant set-up, real-time viewing, data logging, and optional frequency domain analysis. The spreadsheet-style channel configuration and set-up includes real-time displays for digital, dial, bar graph, strip chart, and scope functions. Includes support for Visual Studio® and Visual Studio® .NET, with examples for Visual C++®, Visual C#®, Visual Basic®, and Visual Basic® .NET. Drivers for DASYLab®, MATLAB®, and LabVIEW® are included and the DaqCal calibration software allows you to easily calibrate the Personal Daq 3000 modules.
